Katherine johnsn was born August 26, 1918, White Sulphur Springs, WV and is 98 years old today. She was also known as ''the girl who loved to count''. She is an African American physicist and mathematician who made contributions to the United States' aeronautics and space programs with the early application of digital electronic computers at NASA.She was educated at West Virgina State University.She married James Francis Goble and has three children Constance Goble, Joylette Goble, Katherine Goble .Her parents are Joshua Coleman, Joylette Coleman . Katherine Johnson was one of the many mathematicain wo did the math for NASA
